Fun Fact
In 1989, Mike Yurosek, a vegetable grower had a bad crop of carrots. He had knobby, bent and twisted carrots. He shortened them in a green been cutter and smoothed them in a potato peeler. When they were done the first ‘baby carrot’ had been born.
